The Croatian Football Federation and the Greek Football Federation have reached an agreement in Athens today that no away fans will be permitted at both matches in the upcoming FIFA World Cup playoff.

Croatia will face Greece in the FIFA World Cup playoff next month without away fans at both matches, both federations agreed today.

The meeting in Athens on Thursday, which included representatives from the Police, was organised to come to an agreement about security for the match which has been deemed as ‘high risk’.

Taking into account all risk factors and security assessments, a joint decision by the two national federations was made that there will be no tickets sold for away fans at the matches in Zagreb (November 9) and in Piraeus (November 12).
