The Croatian community in Ireland has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help those less fotunate at Christmas time back in the homeland.
The campaign has been started as a bridge of goodwill between Croatian immigrants in Ireland and the humanitarian aid group FB Humanitarians Zagreb to send help, aid and presents to some of the poorest families in Zagreb.
The aid group is run by a small band of brave women who have been donating and helping families in Zagreb for seven years and they been formally an association for 5 years.
They started the campaign “Let there be Christmas for all!” in which they give presents to over 70 families and about 150 children as well as take care of their needs in a very organized and well-planned fashion so as to push them to better themselves and definitely not abuse the possible donations.
They take care of heating issues, food, clothes, shoes, hygiene needs, school supplies – all those things many others don’t really even find to be an issue.
