VIDEO: New Trailer for Mamma Mia 2 Shot on Vis Released

More fantastic shots of the Croatian island of Vis in the new international trailer for Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!, the sequel to the Broadway musical turned blockbuster starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, which was released this week.

In December, Universal Pictures released the first look trailer, and this week they released the new official trailer, which offers a teaser of a song that has never been seen in the original movie – ABBA’s ‘Angeleyes.

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! was filmed in September and October last year on the island of Vis for 24 days, with more than 270 Croatian film professionals and extras engaged.

Stars involved in shooting on the island clearly enjoyed themselves, regularly gushing over the island’s beauty via social media, especially British actor Pierce Brosnan.

Along with the original cast including Meryl Streep, Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Julie Walters, Christine Baranski, Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper, the sequel also features Lily James, Josh Dylan, Jeremy Irvine, Alexa Davies and Jessica Keenan Wynn.

The movie hits cinemas this summer.
