Miss Tourism World: Croatia Finishes in TOP 6

Miss Croatia Magdalena Brkic has finished in 6th place at the 2017/2018 Miss Tourism World Contest held in Malaysia.

Last night’s contest saw women from over 60 countries around the world take part as they portrayed tourism and culture in their respective countries.

Brkic, who is from Vinkovci in eastern Croatia, made the Top 15 before eventually being placed 6th in the contest.

Brkic, who lists her hobbies as fashion, playing handball and singing in the choir,  promoted her hometown as well as her country and her promotional video took out third place in the Best Tourist Video category.

Miss Colombia was the winner of the event, with Miss Peru the 1st Runner Up.

The Miss Tourism World contest started in 1994 with the aim of representing international beauty queens from around the world. The main objective of the contest is to promote nation’s tourism and culture.
