Zagreb Named One of the Most Relaxing City Breaks in Europe

The Croatian capital has been ranked in the TOP 5 of the most relaxing city breaks in Europe. 

Zagreb has come in at No.5 on the index of the most relaxing city breaks in Europe. Compiled buy Spa Seekers, the index measured the followed factors:

How busy the city is

How happy the locals are

Living standards

Access to public transport

The amount of coastline nearby

How busy the local airport is

Zagreb received the highest score on the index for happiness (6.8/10). The city scored 5.9/10 for public transport satisfaction and 6/10 for living standards.

Copenhagen was the No.1 most relaxing city break in Europe on the index, followed by Luxembourg, Tallinn and Helsinki. Zagreb was fifth with Vilnius, Riga and Stockholm just behind it. 

Zagreb comes in at No.5 (Spa Seeker)

Zagreb has been experiencing record tourist arrivals this year. 

Once almost a forgotten destination in the summer months, the city has been busy over the last couple of months and has had 597,000 tourist arrivals so far in 2018.
