Three Croatian holiday homes have won awards at the 2018 European Holiday Home Awards.
The awards, organised by the European Holiday Home Association, showcase stunning holiday home rental properties across Europe. The winners of the 2018 awards have been announced with three holiday homes in Croatia among them.
The old restored eco-friendly Villa Milica near Pula in Istria, complete with private pool, won the award in the Best Green Holiday Home category.
“Villa Milica is one of the first housing objects in Istria rewarded with an Eco Domus certificate, which guarantees that the guests are staying in an eco-friendly villa. In order to get the certificate, the villa had to meet conditions such as using eco-friendly detergents and recycling. The idea of the project is to make Istria a “green region” and to limit the impact the villas have on the local environment,” the owners said.
The stunning Villa Palma on the island of Korčula in Naplovac won in the Best Holiday Home Beach House category.
“This detached villa is something else: with infinity pool and right on the sea on the popular island of Korcula. Enjoy the amazing, unobstructed views across the sea from your various private terraces. One of them provides direct access to the water. Your villa has an ultra-modern interior.”
The winner in the Best Pet Holiday Home category went to Green Frame in Klarići near Vodnjan in Istria.
This year’s awards featured 14 categories with 15 Croatian homes named among the 112 finalists from 21 countries. All of the winners can be found here.
