Flights from Canada & Ireland to Croatia to be boosted in 2019

31 December 2018 – Croatia will be better connected to the world in 2019 than it has ever been.
There has been a steady stream of announcements of new launches to Croatia in 2019 and a number of airlines have also confirmed they will boost frequencies, the latest being Croatia Airlines and Canada’s Air Transat.
Air Transat will increase the frequency on its Zagreb-Toronto service for the 2019 summer from two to three weekly flights. Air Transat will now depart Toronto for Zagreb on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays writes avioradar.hr.
The Zagreb-Toronto service will commence on 15 May 2019 and operate until 30 October 2019 with the new Friday-departing service in effect from 21 June 2019 until 13 September 2019.
Meanwhile, Croatia Airlines will increase frequencies on its Zagreb-Dublin service and will now operate it year-round.
The route, which launched in 2018, will resume on April 9 with three weekly flights. Services will continue into the 2019/2020 winter season twice per week (Thursdays and Sundays) commencing on 27 October 2019.
Croatia Airlines will use their 144-seat Airbus A319 aircraft for the route, reports avioradar.hr.
Ireland will be further connected to Croatia in 2019 with the nation’s flag carrier airline, Aer Lingus, commencing a new direct service from Cork to Dubrovnik starting in May 2019.
The new route from Cork to Dubrovnik will commence on 4 May 2019 and operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
