Leto, who is the lead vocalist and main songwriter for the band he formed in 1998 in Los Angeles, announced the pre-sale tickets on Wednesday for the music and lifestyle festival on ‘Mars Island’ in Croatia.

“Mars Island is a three night, all inclusive festival experience. Relax and restore with yoga amongst the trees, take a dip in the pool, catch a midnight screening or gaze at the stars, and catch two intimate performances with Thirty Seconds To Mars. Mars Island is an experience like no other,”
The festival will take place on a ‘small island in the Šibenik archipelago’ from 9 – 12 August 2019.

“Croatia, Mars Island, August 9th through the 12th it is going to be absolutely incredible. We are so excited, the place is insane. It’s going to be an amazing weekend,” Leto said on Instagram.
Jutarnji List reports the island in question is Obonjan island which has been rented out by Mars Island festival organisers for duration of the festival.
Leto’s band Thirty Seconds to Mars have performed in Croatia once before back in 2011 in Zagreb.
