Plitvice Lakes National Park seeking 460 workers for tourist season

ZAGREB, 30, January 2019 – Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is Croatia’s oldest national park, has announced on Wednesday it is seeking 460 workers for the upcoming tourist season.
The jobs have been announced on the website of the national park with 7 February 2019 the cut off for applications.
Plitvice Lakes National Park is seeking 460 people to work in a range of different areas in the park, from the maintenance side to the service side of the park.
Jobs open include landscapers, cleaners, drivers, tourist guides, receptionists, waiters, cashiers, cooks and positions in finance and security.
The Plitvice Lakes National Park is the oldest and largest national park in Croatia, famous for its numerous turquoise-coloured lakes and waterfalls.
The national park was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia. The protected area extends over 296.85 square kilometres (73,350 acres). In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register among the first natural sites worldwide. Each year, more than 1.2 million visitors are recorded.
