Seth Troxler to play in Zagreb for the first time

20 February 2019 – Renowned American DJ, Seth Troxler, will perform in the Croatian capital Zagreb for the first time this summer at the #WELOVESOUND open air festival.

After attracting stars like Ricardo Villalobos, The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, Chris Liebing, Enzo Siragusa, Timo Maasa and tINI, #WELOVESOUND open air festival this year will feature the world-class DJ who will be making his debut in Zagreb.

Seth Troxler was named the world’s best DJ in 2013 by he renowned Resident Advisor magazine. The American, who grew up in Detroit and now resides in Berlin, London and Ibiza, is resident DJ at one of the world’s prestigious DC10 clubs in Ibiza, Fabric in London, Trouw in Amsterdam and Output in New York, and is also owner of the very successful Smokey Tails restaurant in London.

Along with Seth, the #WELOVESOUND festival will again feature the darling of the Zagreb crowd, Sonja Mooner. Sonja is one of the most popular DJs in the world, known for her eclectic sets, a rich collection of recordings and “contagious” energy. During her rich career she has collaborated with major electronic music acts such as Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Carl Craig and became a member of the famous Berlin label Perlon.

Local performers at the festival include, Andrea Ljekaj, the award-winning producer and international DJ whose features on music labels Get Physical, Einmusika, Save Us and Selador, as well as being played on BBC Radio, Boiler Room, Burning Man, and DJ Joris Voorn, Laurent Garnier, Maceo Plex, Dubfire, Dj Harvey, Jamie Jones , Mandy and Noir. Last year his remix for Croatian diva Josip Lisac was released.

The third edition of the open air #WELOVESOUND festival will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Big Lake at Jarun next to the skate park. The festival will start at 4 pm and end at 5 am followed by the now traditional afterparty.

Early bird tickets have sold out and regular tickets are currently on sale for 200 kuna. Tickets the day before and the day of the festival will be 300 kuna.
