2 May 2019 – Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson was in the mood for a cheeseburger on Thursday during his time in the Croatian capital Zagreb.
The American actor visited Brewbites in Gajeva street in downtown Zagreb this afternoon. Hrvoje Šalković, one of the owners of the American-style restaurant, said that the actor was approachable after coming in and ordering a cheeseburger.
“The actor was extremely polite and approachable, and we made sure he had privacy for which he was grateful,” Šalković said, Vecernji list writes.
Jackson has been in Croatia with Salma Hayek and Ryan Reynolds shooting the film The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. After filming in Rovinj and Rijeka, filming moved to Zagreb on Wednesday.
“This new location looks promising! Croatia is lovely at first glance,” Jackson wrote on his Instagram after first arriving in Rovinj last month.
Filming started on 6 April in Rovinj and was scheduled to last until the end of May. Croatia plays the roles of ‘Italy’, the Mediterranean climate and Croatia itself in the film.
There are over 220 Croatian film professionals working in production, and more than 760 extras will be engaged. The film is set to be released early 2020.
