First Ibis Styles hotel in Croatia to open in Rijeka

28 May 2019 – International hotel chain Ibis will open its first hotel in Croatia in Rijeka on the northern Adriatic coast.

Rijeka Property has signed an agreement with Polish hotel operator Orbis Group for the construction of the first Ibis Styles hotel in Croatia, investors said in a statement this week.

The hotel, which will open just a 20-minute walk from Korza in the centre of Rijeka, will have 150 rooms, including 18 family rooms, conference rooms, restaurant, bar and a wellness area. There will also be 115 parking spots.

Around 45 people will be employed at the hotel when it opens in 2021. Construction is set to commence later this year.
