PHOTOS: Most beautiful Croatian in national costume outside Croatia crowned

29 June 2019 – Ivana Ana Vlasici from Romania has been crowned the most beautiful Croatian in national costume outside Croatia for 2019 in Tomislavgrad.
Along with the title, Vlasici was presented a replica necklace and bracelet from between the 10th-12th century from Visici near Capljina in Bosnia and Herzegovina from Dr. Dragan Čović.
The first runner-up was Kinga Deniza Dancze fromn Hungary, whilst Leslie Marjory Samokic Quiquia from Peru was second runner-up. Eva Tadić from Austria won Miss Photogenic.
The 6th fashion show of traditional folk costumes and the most beautiful Croatian in national costume outside Croatia contest, which is organised by the Stećak Association and the Croatian Heritage Foundation, saw 27 girls of Croatian origin from Argentina, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Italy, Kosovo, Hungary, Peru, Germany, Montenegro, Norway, Paraguay, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and USA compete for this year’s title.
The pageant is aimed at connecting Croatians from all over the world, as well as preserving and promoting traditional Croatian culture.
