KORCULA, 10 July 2019 – The second and final season of HBO series Succession will be filmed on the island of Korcula this month.
HBO and production company Ambasada Film will be on the island of Korcula from 17-20 July where filming for the second season of Succession will take place, Dubrovacki.hr reports.
According to the report, the series will be filmed at a number of locations from Dubrovnik to Korcula with scenes being filmed on the island next week at a number of spots in the Old Town, including at the entrance, in front of St. Mark’s cathedral and at restaurant ‘Cupido’.
“It is true that we received inquiries with dates and locations from Ambasada Film and HBO, they sent specific requests such as longer use of public lighting due to filming at night. This is the first time that the City will host a larger production and we will enable them all the resources available to us,” Korcula’s Mayor, Andrija Fabris was quoted as saying.
