UberBOAT starts again in Split & Dubrovnik for the summer

ZAGREB, 12 July 2019 – UberBOAT, an on-demand boat service on the Dalmatian coast offered by Uber, is available again from today for its third summer.
From today, UberBOAT is available to order in Split, Dubrovnik and on the Dalmatian islands surrounding those cities. Just like the last two summers, two services are offered – transfer, which gets users from point A to point B and back from Split and Dubrovnik, and trip, which allows users to have a boat for as long as they want and to go wherever they want.
“We are proud that we can offer users this popular service for the third consecutive year, which is available only in Croatia. UberBOAT offers all tourists the unique experience of getting to know the Croatian coast in a simple and reliable way. Tourist from 40 countries used the service over the past two summers, and feedback has been extremely positive. We are most looking forward to contributing to the promotion of Croatian tourism,” Davor Tremac, Director of Uber for South East Europe said, Tportal reported.
Transfers to and from the mainland to any of the surrounding islands is available for a maximum of 8 people. The trip option gives users a chance to explore islands, and discover hidden beaches, bays, and coves.
Boats can only depart from certain locations that have been pre-defined. Boats available at UberBOAT are speedboats that can accommodate up to eight passengers. All service providers are licensed and captains have valid permits for commercial transportation.
