Porcijunkulovo 2019: Biggest cultural fest in northwest Croatia set to start

ČAKOVEC, 19 July 2019 – The biggest cultural-tourist manifesto in the northwest of Croatia is set to underway in Međimurje later this month.
The 55th Porcijunkulovo will take place in the city of Čakovec from 30 July – 4 August and more than 300,000 visitors from Croatia and around the world are expected to take part in the festivities.
Visitors this year are able to enjoy again in a number various fun events, with the town covered again in thousands of colourful umbrellas, which have been a trademark of the event. Last year over 3,000 umbrellas were put up.
Concerts, workshops, presentations of old crafts, talk shows and shows for the kids, presentation of autochthonous wines and other products, street music and much more are part of this year’s programme.
