Croatian actor Goran Visnjic leaving the United States

14 August 2019 – One of Croatia’s most famous international actors, 46-year-old Goran Visnjic, has revealed that he is to pack up and leave the United States.
Visnjic revealed to Gloria.hr that after 20 years in the United States he is about to head back to Europe. Speaking from his residence of the last three years between the Los Angeles cities of Santa Monica and Palos Verdes, Visnjic said he is about to start a new chapter in his life.
Next summer Visnjic will move with his family from the United States to the UK. He is currently house hunting in Cornwall. Visnjic told Gloria that he is moving to England to be closer to family in Croatia.
“The kids, in America, miss greatly their grandmother and grandfather.”
Visnjic is best known in the United States for his roles as Dr. Luka Kovač on the NBC television series ER and Garcia Flynn on Timeless. For ER, he and his cast were nominated for two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Visnjic recently played Ante Gotovina in the film ‘General’ which is screening currently in cinemas across Croatia.
