Croatia voted among Top 20 Favourite Countries in the World

7 October 2019 – Croatia has been ranked among the Top 20 countries in the world in a reader’s choice poll by the world’s leading travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler.
Condé Nast Traveler readers have ranked their favourite countries around the world with the magazine publishing the final results today. The Top 20 Countries in the World: Readers’ Choice Awards 2019 list saw Croatia ranked in 20th spot.
Indonesia was ranked in first place with 92.78, followed by Thailand (92.37) and Portugal (91.94) in third place. Croatia was ranked 20th by reader votes with 88.83.

Last month Croatia featured on Condé Nast Traveler’s list of the 40 most beautiful countries in the world.
“The country’s most famous waters are found inland at the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a system of waterfalls, caves, and 16 terraced lakes that cover the entire blue-green color spectrum. The Adriatic Sea coast is truly unrivaled, speckled with more than 1,000 islands surrounded by impossibly clear water. The Dinaric Alps provide even more sublime views and help contribute to Croatia’s overall landscape—the craggy peaks and caverns near the coast transition to rolling farmland in the northeast Hrvatsko Zagorje region,” Condé Nast Traveler wrote.
