Commemorative 25 kuna coin issued to mark Croatia’s EU presidency

ZAGREB, Jan 15 (Hina) – The Croatian National Bank (HNB) on Wednesday released a new HRK 25 coin to mark Croatia’s presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2020.
The central bank said in a press release that the coin was designed by academic sculptor Damir Matausic while the checkerboard symbol on the head of the coin was designed by Iva Primorac, Stipe Brcic and Marija Juza.
The commemorative coin was forged in the Croatian Monetary Institute mint and will be issued in 30,000 copies.
