ZAGREB, 23 January 2020 – The new T-Nest luxury tourist resort, located on an artificial lake near Lovinac in Croatia’s Lika region, is set to open this autumn.
The T-Nest Resort, with the name inspired by the great world innovator Nikola Tesla, who originated from the neighbouring town of Smiljan, is expected to open in September this year, Poslovni.hr reports.
“So far, the first phase of the villas on the lake, the plateaus for all canvas villas, the reinforced concrete slab for the main restaurant, the basement reception floor and multifunctional hall have been completed. Part of the work is being done away from the construction site, including the preparation and production of wooden and canvas houses which will then be installed on site,” Poslovni.hr writes.
T-Nest Resort will feature 62 luxury wooden villas, glamping domes and tree houses spread over 13 and a half hectares of land. All cars inside the resort will be electric. The resort will employ around 70 people who will work 10 months of the year as the resort is designed to attract tourists in all seasons.
“At T-Nest we offer luxury, but also hospitality, a smile, and good energy conveyed by satisfied staff. A full resort will accommodate about 250 people, depending on how rooms and beds are used because, for example, we have extra beds in the lodges for families with children,” investor Goran Strok told Poslovni.hr earlier.
Lovinac is surrounded by national and nature parks in the area and is around 65 km drive from Zadar airport.
