Fifty Shades of Grey sets Record in Croatia


Hit-novel “Fifty shades of grey” by British author E.L James, has sold out in just ten days in Croatia, setting a new record, reports daily newspaper Vecernji list.

The novel became the nations most sold title in 2012 after all 10,000 copies were sold in just ten days. The world acclaimed erotic novel is the first instalment in a trilogy that traces the deepening relationship between a college graduate, Anastasia Steele, and a young business magnate, Christian Grey.

The second book in the trilogy is due out any day and that is also expected to sell out in record time. The price of the book in Croatia, which has sold over 40 million copies worldwide, is 99 kuna (13 euros).
