Most popular baby names in Croatia in 2019 revealed

ZAGREB, 7 February 2020 – The list of the most popular names given to newborn boys and girls in Croatia last year has been revealed. 

There are no big surprises among the top 20 most popular names with most of the names featuring on lists in previous years. There is a new addition from last year to the list for boys with Lovro coming in at No.20, Zadovoljna.hr writes.  Dropping out of the top 20 was Jan. 

The two most popular names for newborns in Croatia in 2019 were Mia and Luka, with short names still popular amongst girls. Below is a list of the 20 most common names for girls and boys compiled by the Ministry of Administration.
