ZAGREB, March 20 (Hina) – A hundred and fifty people in Croatia have been fined for disobeying self-isolation orders, while 14 companies have been penalised for violating price control measures, the State Inspectorate reported on Friday.
Fourteen companies violated a government decision and law by increasing prices of certain products, such as baby food, nappies, pasta, flour, cooking oil, sugar, salt, rice, canned meat and fish, water, protective gloves, detergent and disinfectants.
The State Inspectorate reiterated that the Croatian government had adopted a decision to control the prices of certain products, as well as the Emergency Price Control Act.
Traders violating the decision and law face a fine of between HRK 10,000 (€1,318) and HRK 100,000 (€13,180).
