ZAGREB, April 3 (Hina) – The Croatian government said on Friday it had ensured the repatriation of Croatian nationals from Ancona by catamaran and departure from the Italian seaport is planned at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The Jelena vessel is expected to arrive in Zadar at 6.30 p.m. that day.
The government has also ensured repatriation flights for Croatian citizens from Italy, Portugal, Spain and Sweden on Saturday afternoon.
Three commercial repatriation flights are scheduled for the afternoon on 4 April. The routes of the flights are Zagreb-Rome-Zagreb, Zagreb-Lisbon-Madrid-Zagreb and Zagreb-Stockholm-Zagreb.
Tickets can be provided via the Obzor travel agency, which is a daughter-company of Croatia Airlines.
The ministry says in a statement that being aware of the fact that a considerable number of Croatians are in the hotspots of the coronavirus pandemic, the network of Croatian consulates and embassies has been investing huge efforts, since the outbreak of the epidemic, in seeking best possible ways to repatriate those citizens, who have been stuck abroad amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
