ZAGREB, April 6 (Hina) – In order to stay connected with its visitors, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb (MSU) has launched a virtual programme, #MSUnonStop, which can be accessed via social media, on the museum’s Facebook page, Instagram, and YouTube channel.
The MSU announced that the programme would present the best of the domestic and international contemporary art scene daily. Additionally, the MSU cinema, in cooperation with the Kino Metropolis cinema and MUBI online film platform, has organised online viewings of numerous films that will be screened in the next three months.
Works of art from the museum’s extensive collections will be presented via online platforms and many exhibitions from the museum’s past will be recalled, and visitors will get the chance to peek behind the scenes as well.
Interesting books which can be flicked through online, projects, and video games will also be presented.
The MSU has also launched new educational programmes, such as the “MSU guidebook for beginners” cycle, in which the museum provides short and simple explanations of certain terms people encounter when they are trying to familiarise themselves with the MSU collections, in order to make it easier for people to understand the artwork, as well as to encourage them to think about contemporary art.
