‘Halimin Put’ Wins Grand Prix At 19th Mediterranean Film Festival In Morocco

Halimin Put (Halima’s Path) by Croatian film director Arsen Ostojic has been awarded the Grand Prix prize at the 19th Mediterranean Film Festival which was held in Morocco recently.
Halimin Put is a story about a grieving, but strong-willed Muslim woman, Halima, who must track down her estranged niece in order to recover the body of her son lost during the war in Bosnia in the 1990’s.
The film was voted the best film at the festival, which featured awarded films from the Cannes Film Festival. Ostojic’s film now heads off on a festival tour of the US, where it will be shown in Cleveland, New York, Los Angeles and Seattle.
