Krka National Park launches ‘Picnic to go’ package

ZAGREB, May 14 – One of Croatia’s gems, Krka National Park, reopened for visitors on Monday after being closed for almost two months.
In addition to the reopening promotional offer of cheaper ticket prices -HRK 50 for adults and HRK 25 for children – the national park announced its special “Picnic to go!” promo package today.
“Krka NP offers visitors a picnic blanket and discounted prices in the restaurant with the view to Roški slap waterfall. From 16 May, in Krka National Park, family packages will be available at a price of 100 kuna, which includes 2 adult tickets and up to 4 children (from 0 to 18 years) tickets, “Picnic to go!” voucher which includes a discount in Krka NP buffet and a branded blanket. Vouchers “Picnic to go!” offers can be used in restaurants at Lozovac and Roški slap waterfall. The selected gastronomic content will be conveniently packed in a canvas bag along with a blanket that visitors can keep,” the park said in a statement.

Along with the “Picnic to go!” offer, the park has another novelty. An eight-kilometre walk from Visovac to Roški slap waterfall, which includes a visit to the watermills, an educational exhibition at the Visovac House Kuželj visitor centre, and a visit of Oziđana pećina cave, a cave in the form of a tunnel that was inhabited seven thousand years ago with a beautiful view of the Krka River canyon, has been created.

“The promotional ticket prices of 50 kuna for adults, 25 kuna for children and young, age 7 to 18, and free entrance for the youngest visitors will be available until 18 June. Bus return is included for all visitors according to the timetable and in compliance with prevention measures. Guidance service is also available, in addition by prior notice.”
