Another zero day, 0 new Covid cases in Croatia

ZAGREB, May 25, 2020 (CW/Hina) – For the second day since Saturday, there have been zero new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, the national crisis management team said in a statement on Monday.
After zero new cases on Saturday and just one new case on Sunday, there have been no new COVID-19 cases once again, leaving the total tally of cases at 2,244.
There was one COVID-19-related fatality reported in the last 24 hours. The current death toll stands at 100.
There have been 2,035 recoveries to date, 8 more than Sunday. Currently, there are 109 active cases in Croatia with 6 patients currently on a ventilator.
Since late February, Croatia has conducted 62,422 tests, including 940 in the last 24 hours.
Broken down by county, the largest number of infections and fatalities has been in Split-Dalmatia, 549 confirmed cases including 34 fatalities.
The City of Zagreb has to date 478 patients including 23 COVID-related deaths.
More than 100 infections have to date been registered in four more counties: Krapina-Zagorje, Osijek-Baranja, Zagreb, and Dubrovnik-Neretva.
The first coronavirus-related deaths were reported in late March. The highest daily numbers of fatalities, 6, were reported on 14 April and on 1 May each. Since 13 May, the numbers of newly infected patients have been single digit on a daily basis.
