0 new Covid cases in Croatia for third day in a row

ZAGREB, May 27, 2020 (CW/Hina) – For the third day in a row, there have been zero new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia, the national crisis management team said in a statement on Wednesday.
After zero new cases on Monday and Tuesday, and just one new case since Friday, there have been no new COVID-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours, leaving the total tally of cases at 2,244.
There were no COVID-19-related fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. The current death toll stands at 101.
There have been 2,047 recoveries to date, 1 more than Tuesday. Currently, there are 96 active cases in Croatia with 38 people in hospital and 6 patients currently on a ventilator.
Since late February, Croatia has conducted 64,266 tests, including 584 in the last 24 hours.
Corona-free counties increase
Three counties are now corona-free in Croatia. Bjelovar-Bilogora, Krapina-Zagorje and Lika-Senj all have no active cases currently.
Broken down by county, the largest number of infections and fatalities has been in Split-Dalmatia, 549 confirmed cases including 34 fatalities.
The City of Zagreb has to date 478 patients including 23 COVID-related deaths.
Since 13 May, the numbers of newly infected patients have been single digit on a daily basis including four zero days.
