Have you ever wondered what the EU has done for Croatia’s economy? What will be the effects of joining the Eurozone for Croatia? Have you ever wanted to pick the brain of one of Croatia’s leading economists?
On Monday, June 15th at 18:30 Croatian time, Goran Šaravanja, Director at IMELUM for economic analysis will talk about Croatia’s economic challenges and accomplishments since EU succession on a live webinar.
Goran will discuss the positive and negative effects the EU has had on Croatia, the standardization it has brought, and what will the effects of introducing the Euro look like. We will also discuss how Croatia can better levy their relationship with the EU to help diversify and strengthen its economy.
Goran is a returnee from Australia and has had a successful career working as a senior economist for the Austrian investment bank Creditanstalt Investment Bank, Zagrebačka banka, and in 2012-2017 worked as INA Hrvatska’s first chief economist. He is the founder of IMELUM, and he is putting those twenty years of exposure to policy, finance, energy, and business as well as knowledge and insight into a fascinating region of Europe, into providing independent analysis of economic and other trends.
“If you have questions for Goran be sure to send us an email at [email protected]. We will also answer your questions during the webinar,” the organisers said.
The webinar will be available on Crodiaspora’s Facebook page.
