18 new Covid-19 cases reported in Croatia today

ZAGREB, June 21, 2020 – There were 18 new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 2,317, the national crisis management team said in a statement on Sunday. 

The new cases were reported in the Zagreb (1), Grad Zagreb (10), Split-Dalmatia (1), Osijek-Baranja (5), and Dubrovnik-Neretva (1) counties. 

There were no new COVID-19-related fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. The current death toll stands at 107. There have been 2,142 recoveries to date. 

Currently, there are 68 active cases in Croatia. There are 9 people in hospital with no patients currently on a ventilator. 

Since late February, Croatia has conducted 72,478 tests, including 276 in the last 24 hours.

Health Minister Vili Beros said the crisis management team was aware that social and economic life had to go on and that it would continue with necessary measures to keep the public health situation stable and satisfactory.
