29 June 2020 – Croatian striker Ante Rebic found the back of the net once again for his club AC Milan on Sunday to continue his goal-scoring run in 2020.
Rebic opened the scoring for AC Milan in their 2-0 home win over Roma last night to score his 8th goal in his last 9 matches for the club.
The 26-year-old Vinjani native has been prolific in 2020 and has scored 8 goals in Serie A this year and one in the Coppa Italia. Rebic has scored on average once every 79 minutes on the pitch in 2020.
Only Cristiano Ronaldo is ahead of the Croatian with a goal every 69 minutes. Atalanta’s Josip Ilicic was next with a goal every 89 minutes, followed by Lazio’s Ciro Immobile who nets every 95 minutes, 24sata reported.
Unlike Ronaldo, none of Rebic’s goals have come from the penalty spot. Rebic has scored 44% of all of AC Milan’s goals in 2020.
Rebic signed a two-year loan deal with AC Milan from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2019.
After spending the first half of the season on the bench, having played more minutes for Croatia than the club, Rebić scored his first two league goals in a 3–2 victory over Udinese on 19 January 2020.
