Croatia confirms 96 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours

ZAGREB, July 3, 2020 – There were 96 new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 3,008, the national crisis management team said in a statement on Friday.
There were two new COVID-19-related fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. The current death toll stands at 112. There have been 2,168 recoveries so far, 13 more than yesterday
There are 728 active cases currently in Croatia with 88 people in hospital and four patients currently on a ventilator.
There are currently 4,943 people in self-isolation.
Since late February, Croatia has conducted 82,902 tests, including 1,465 in the last 24 hours.
As of July 1, all EU / EEA citizens and permanent residents in the EU / EEA, as well as the United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican, are free to enter Croatia without having to prove the purpose of entry, while those from third countries must show proof of purpose at the border.
The obligation to self-isolate upon entering Croatia was lifted for all countries.
All other foreign nationals outside the EU / EEA can enter Croatia for business or tourist reasons (with paid accommodation reservation).
