Croatia reports 24 new coronavirus cases today, big drop in active cases

ZAGREB, July 27, 2020 – There were 24 new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, the national crisis management team said on Monday.
Today’s new cases bring the total number of cases since the start to 4,881.
There has been a big drop in active cases in Croatia. There are currently 806 active cases, down from over 1,100 a few days ago. There have been 3,936 recoveries so far.
There were three new COVID-19-related fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. The current death toll stands at 139.
There are 138 people in hospital and 9 patients currently on a ventilator. There are 3,112 people currently in self-isolation.
Since late February, Croatia has conducted 112,834 tests, including 831 in the last 24 hours.
Most of the active cases are still in the capital Zagreb, Vukovar-Srijem, Osijek-Baranja and Split-Dalmatia counties.
