If you are planning a holiday in Istria, on the way to the sea, you can stop by for some great Istrian souvenirs at the pop-up wine shop Kabola near Momjan. On one of the most beautiful Istrian estates, in harmony with nature, for more than ten years Kabola’s production has been ecological, so everything you buy in the wine shop carries an ecological certificate.
Golden-green coloured Kabola extra virgin olive oil with the smell and taste of raspberries and grass, medium bitterness and spiciness, will remind you of the Mediterranean and Istria during the winter months. Very harmonious and nicely rounded, fresh and with a lasting aroma, it goes perfectly with fish, shrimps and prawns, goes well with Istrian prosciutto and sheep cheese, and comes to the fore in salads of all kinds, giving them a special taste.
You won’t leave the pop-up wine shop without at least a few bottles of exceptional Kabola wines that have been talked about since they first appeared on the wine scene fifteen years ago. Sparkling wine Re and fresh Secco from the famous Momjan Muscat, Istrian Malvasia and Teran rose Rosa are a real refreshment on hot summer evenings, and true lovers and connoisseurs will not resist complex and elegant macerated wines with a long finish like Malvasia Unica, Malvasia Amphora or Teran Amphora.
If you like semi-sweet and sweet wines, choose Muscat Momjanski and Dolce, whose name says it all.
