Eurowings returns to Osijek Airport

ZAGREB, 3 August 2020 – Eurowings has returned to Osijek Airport with the first flight this year landing from Germany on Sunday.
The low-cost airline has resumed its Stuttgart – Osijek service and landed its A319 on Sunday at Osijek just after 2 p.m. with 112 passengers on board, which was 72% load capacity.
The aircraft took off on the return flight to Stuttgart at 3:30 p.m. with 102 passengers on board, Croatian Aviation reports.
Eurowings will continue to operate flights on the Stuttgart – Osijek route until October 18th, 2020 with just one weekly flight, every Saturday. Passengers from Osijek can transfer in Stuttgart to the following destinations: Hannover, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Vienna with a short waiting time (from 40 to 90 minutes, depending on the final destination).
Osijek Airport is currently connected with five airports in Croatia – Zagreb, Pula, Rijeka, Split and Dubrovnik with direct flights operated by Trade Air and Croatia Airlines.
