Coronavirus latest in Croatia

ZAGREB, August 3, 2020 – There were 34 new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, whilst active cases are still on the decline, the national crisis management team said on Monday. 

Today’s new cases bring the total number of cases since the start to 5,294.

There are currently 703 active cases in Croatia. There have been 4,438 recoveries so far. 

There were four new COVID-19-related fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. The current death toll stands at 153. 

There are 130 people in hospital and 6 patients currently on a ventilator. There are 2,520 people currently in self-isolation.

Since late February, Croatia has conducted 122,083 tests, including 763 in the last 24 hours.

Most of the active cases are still in the capital Zagreb, Vukovar-Srijem, Istria, and Split-Dalmatia counties.
