ZAGREB, 17 August 2020 – Croatia under-21 international and Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Nikola Moro (22) has signed for Dynamo Moscow, the club announced on Monday.
Moro, who has signed a five-year deal with the Russian club for an undisclosed fee, becomes the 10th Croatian currently in the Russian Premier League.
“I feel strange. Feelings are mixed. On the one hand, I’m overjoyed because I’m going to a big club and can’t wait for new challenges. On the other hand, I am leaving the club where I spent 11 years. From the city where I lived half my life and it was certainly not easy for me to go through the entrance of Maksimir and close the doors of Zagreb. But that is the life of a professional. I was on vacation when an inquiry arrived from Moscow. I took a few days to think and then realised how good a choice it was for me. I was attracted by their great desire to bring me, a good and developmental league, and a club that does not hide its ambition and has big goals,” Moro told Sportske Novosti.
