Lidl exporting traditional Croatian products to stores in 14 European countries

ZAGREB, Sept 10 (Hina) – The Lidl retailer has recently put more than 30 traditional Croatian foods and beverages on its shelves in 14 European countries, the chain said on Thursday.
Customers in Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia may taste some of the best Croatian delicacies under the Croamore brand.
On the shelves of the mentioned Lidl stores are some of the most famous Croatian products such as Dalmatian pršut, ham and pancetta, Baranja kulen, sausages and cheeses from various Croatian regions, premium pasta, sardines and mackerel, Kraš’s Domaćica biscuits, Franck coffee, Podravka Lino Lada, Ožujsko beer, Plavac and Graševina wines, spread, walnut rolls, fig jam, and many other delicacies.
Lidl said the brand was launched in 2016 to sell Croatian products abroad.
The retail chain has been doing business in Croatia since 2006 with 102 stores employing over 2,300 people.
