ZAGREB, Sept 10 (Hina) – Founder and Executive Director of Rimac Automobili, Mate Rimac, on Thursday, said that since the outbreak of the coronavirus crisis the company has employed about 150 people and that he expects “some new investments” in the near future.
“Things are happening so explosively. We are rapidly growing and I think that since the outbreak of the coronavirus crisis, we have employed about 150 people so far. We are continuing to grow despite the crisis. We are opening offices outside Croatia and soon we will open another one in Croatia with 400 people,” Rimac said via a video link during the “Business Mindset 2020” conference organised by the Entrepreneur platform and its partner, EY Croatia.
Rimac Automobili, without its Greyp Bikes section, currently employs 815 people.
The Greyp Bikes section employs an additional 85 workers, said Rimac who added that this section “has some new ideas but they do not wish to reveal them for the time being.”
He just said that there are “some new investments” the company is working on.
So far Porsche, Hyundai, and the Camel Group from China have invested in his company.
