Croatia’s Minister of Transport Sinisa Hajdas Doncic has revealed in a TV interview details about the governments plan to sell its national carrier Croatia Airlines.
Speaking to local station Nova TV, Hajdas Doncic announced that the government were currently in the first phase of restructuring but its intention was to sell, saying that they had to face the reality of the sale in order for the financially troubled airline to survive.
“Croatia Airlines will look for a potential strategic partner. If that partner comes from outside the EU then the maximum share they can have will be 49%, if they come from within the EU then it can be 100%,” said Hajdas Doncic.
