Coronavirus: Passengers from Croatia no longer need COVID test for Italy

ZAGREB, Oct 9 (Hina) – As of today Italy no longer demands negative Covid-19 tests for passengers coming from Croatia nor will they need to be tested within 48 hours upon arriving in Italy.

The Italian government adopted the decision on Wednesday and it entered into force today.

Croatia is among those countries that Italy has included on its List B for entries into the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Italy allows entry from countries on List B, which mostly includes EU member states, without the need for a test or mandatory self-isolation.

Despite being a member of the EU, Romania is still on Italy’s List C, which means stricter conditions for entering the country. Additional provisions still apply for passengers arriving from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Spain.

Passengers from List B countries can enter Italy regardless of their reason for travelling. However, they are still required to fill out a form stating that they are not suffering from Covid-19 and including travel information and contacts.
