A Nation’s Story: Croatia’s World Cup run part of new series on FIFA+
Although it has been just over 7 months now since Croatia finished third at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Croatian fans still have fresh, fond memories of the dream run.
Victories over Canada, Japan and Brazil sent the nation into euphoria just like in 2018 as Zlatko Dalić’s side reached a second consecutive semi-final.
Today, FIFA+ plus have released a new behind the scenes series which gives fans a chance to go down memory lane.
‘A Nation’s Story’ – gives a unique look at the stories of the four semi-finalists – Croatia, France, Morocco and Argentina – at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Featuring exclusive interviews with players and coaches, and footage from FIFA’s film cameras, the series provides a fresh perspective on the journey’s at the tournament.
The documentary starts off in the Croatia changing rooms where captain Luka Modrić is giving his side the last words of motivation before they head onto the pitch to face Argentina.
