Croatia’s Minister of Tourism Darko Lorencin has flown out to Ireland for a 2-day official visit. Lorencin will meet with Ireland’s Minister of Tourism and Sport, Mr. Leo Varadkar to discuss the strengthening of ties and cooperation between the two nations.
Lorencin, who will be in Ireland until Wednesday, will also hold talks with the CEO of Ireland’s national carrier Aer Lingus, Mr. Christopher Mueller, and with representatives with Google. Dublin has been home to Google’s European headquarters for many years now.
Lorencin is also expected to meet with the national organisation charged with promoting tourism in Ireland – Tourism Ireland, who are also involved in ‘The Gathering’ initiative which is aimed at mobilising the Irish diaspora from all over the world to return to Ireland in 2013 to be part of specially organised events.
