Albino Kangaroo Becomes Hit At Croatian Zoo

A rare albino kangaroo is proving to be a hit attraction at a zoo in eastern Croatia. The Osijek Zoo recently inherited a the new resident, and locals have been rushing out to have a look.

The cute baby albino kangaroo surprised staff when it was born in May at the zoo. Visitors have been flocking to the zoo to catch a glimpse of Osijek’s first albino kangaroo. Osijek zoo says that if the albino kangaroo had been born in its natural environment in Australia that it would probably already have been killed as predators in the wild have no trouble hunting them down due to their eye sight problems and lack of camouflage.
