American Airlines Seeking Bilingual English & Croatian Staff

Croatia and the United States will be connected with a direct service from next summer.
For the first time in 28 years, a direct service will connect the United States and Dubrovnik on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast. The world’s largest carrier, American Airlines, will introduce seasonal summer flights from its Philadelphia hub to Dubrovnik.
The service, which will see three weekly flights operate between the two cities, will start on 7 June 2019 and run until 21 September 2019.
American Airlines will operate the route with their 209-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, featuring 28 business flat-bed seats, 21 in premium economy (Main Cabin Extra) and the remaining 160 seats in standard economy.
American Airlines have started looking for staff for the route with Croatian language skills.
The airlines are seeking trainee flight attendants who are bilingual in English and Croatian.
The job descriptions require applicants to be able to read and speak Croatian and English fluently.
“All candidates must be willing to be based from any of our base locations including Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Dallas/Ft Worth, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; Raleigh/Durham, NC; San Francisco, CA; St Louis, MO; Washington, DC,” the advert says.
