American Airlines seeking Croatian speaking flight attendants

1 February 2019 – For the first time in 28 years, a non-stop service will connect the United States and Dubrovnik on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast this year.
The world’s largest carrier, American Airlines, will commence seasonal summer flights from its Philadelphia hub to Dubrovnik on 7 June 2019. The service will operate until 21 September 2019 and the airline is currently seeking Croatian speaking flight attendants.
The trainee flight attendant positions at American Airlines are advertised on the airline’s website and Andrea, a Croatian speaker who works at the airline, says it is a great chance to see the homeland.

According to the job description, among other things, applicants are required to be able to read and speak Croatian and English fluently, be competent in problem-solving, and have good communication and interpersonal skills.

American Airlines will operate the route with their 209-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, featuring 28 business flat-bed seats, 21 in premium economy (Main Cabin Extra) and the remaining 160 seats in standard economy.
