Republican Governor of the U.S. state of Ohio, American-Croat John Kasich, said on Sunday that private polls show that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is currently ahead of President Barack Obama in Ohio – the most important of the so-called ten undecided states.
Kasich, who was a guest on NBC talk show “Meet the Press,” predicted that Romney will win in Ohio and thus the presidency, estimating that the final result will not be as tight as every is predicting.
“Right now I believe that we are currently leading. Internal indicators tell us that we are ahead,” said Kasich, alluding to private polling that candidates routinely implemented. “Frankly, I believe that Romney will take Ohio,” Kasich said.
