Croatia has attracted a large number of international television and film productions, including the likes of Game of Thrones, Star Wars, The Ipcress File, Succession, and Jack Ryan, which is currently filming in the southern city of Dubrovnik.
Last summer, popular American dating and relationship reality television series The Bachelor filmed part of season 26 on the island of Hvar and the episode is set to hit the air.
The season sees contestants trying and win the heart of 28-year-old medical sales representative Clayton Echard.
One of the filming locations on the island was the Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort.
“Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort is a proud participant in the upcoming episode of ABC’s “The Bachelor”, which features the picturesque island of Hvar and Amfora, a hotel that hosts the reality stars for a full week,” the resort said.
The episode, which will feature stunning shots of Hvar, will be broadcast on ABC on Monday, 14 February at 7 p.m. (CST).
It is not the first time that Hvar has been used as a backdrop for a reality show. WAGS Miami was filmed on the island, as well as UK reality show Made in Chelsea.
Last year, popular Netflix culinary series Somebody Feed Phil filmed on the island of Hvar.
