Despite their first offer to purchase famous Croatian football club Hajduk Split being turned down, the American consortium interested in buying the financial strapped club are not giving up, and have arrived back in Split on Monday night.
The consortium led by lawyer Michael Glover and consisting also of psychologist Darren Treasure and NFL star Ndamukong Suh, had their initial 230 million kuna (30 million euros) offer rejected back in July, and now Glover is back with what he says is an offer that should please both the club and city officials, writes daily Vecernji list.
“In our offer we have included terms that should satisfy both Hajduk and the City” said Glover, who is expected to meet with officials this week. Australian-Croat businessman Matt Tomas has also announced in recent months his interest in buying the club.
